I love this picture. Although our main motivation for going out to Wang An was to see the green turtles which nest there every summer, our timing was off by a couple of months. Tam was determined to see one of the little critters SOMEWHERE on the island. We even went to the local police station to ask for help in our turtlequest. The ever obliging Jingcha led us to a huge Turtle exhibit hall that featured a few stuffed animals but alas no real turtles. We didnt have the heart to tell the fella that we'd seen and been unimpressed by the place less than an hour before..Despite this we had a great time - bar the never ending boatride to the place. This shot was taken near the summit of Tiantaishan.
