This is Tam's Dad - Allan - and his mate - Gary. They have been best friends for nearly 40 years and have an incredible mateship that transends the 2000miles that separates their homes in Geelong and Brisbane. They are a pair of absolute ratbags anytime they get together especially when they dust off the old backgammon set. Such is their love for the game they even have a trophy they play for each time they meet. More than seventy hard fought games, about 300 catcalls and 20 plus hours of jovial sledging later, Gary was the victor. Much to the excitement of his young family who gave their Dad a raptuous welcome on his return to Brisbane.
