On December 17, my(Tim's) kids had their annual Christmas show. My four classes all performed plays which I either wrote or adapted to suit the class size, at a marquee set up in front of the school.(ie: on the road).Despite the writing/editing headaches, monotone deliveries, kids dropping out at late notice, dancers with no rhythm or no sense of timing(hello, Wilson), and the fact that the kids were soooo sick of the damn thing by the time showtime rolled around, it all went off ok. Well, no one lost an eye lets just put it that way!
The sound and the mixing were crap(Hubba would have had a fit), more than a few portable mics ended up around kinder necks(or on the floor) and as it was so cold most of the crowd had gone by midway through the show. Anyway the hard work did pay off when my kinder class was voted the best class by the audience and my ESLA1 class came in third. Hooray!
